Adopting High-Leverage Strategies to Engage Struggling Students (PreK-12)

This online course equips teachers with high-leverage, evidence-based practices to better support diverse and struggling learners. Teachers will explore root causes of academic, behavioral, and socioemotional challenges and learn how to address them using the High-Leverage Practices (HLP) framework. The course covers key areas including collaboration, data-driven planning, instruction, and intervention. Teachers will also learn how to apply differentiated instruction and implement Tier 1, 2, and 3 strategies within a multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS). By the end of this course, participants will feel empowered to create more inclusive, effective, and engaging learning environments.
