American College of Education (ACE)

PDI, in partnership with the American College of Education, offers graduate-level, degree-eligible credit for all online courses. Each course is worth 3 semester credits. Credit for PDI courses through ACE is typically used for credential renewal and salary advancement but can also be applied toward an advanced degree.

What You Need to Know About ACE Credit

ACE Logo

Credit is awarded only upon successful completion of all course requirements, including the minimum participation period for each course.

Each course requires a minimum participation period of nine (9) unique calendar days beginning on the date of enrollment. The minimum participation requirement applies separately to each individual course enrollment. Participants enrolled in multiple courses must satisfy the minimum participation period for each course consecutively and not concurrently. Completion paperwork will not be processed until the minimum participation period for each course has been met.

Obtaining Official Transcripts:

Once you have met all the course requirements, PDI will post your final grade and forward your credit paperwork to ACE. You will be notified via e-mail from ACE that your grade has been posted at which time you may request a transcript through Parchment. Digital ACE transcripts cost $8 and are typically delivered within hours. Mailed official transcripts cost $10 and usually arrive within 7–10 days. Expedited mailing options are available through Parchment if needed. Click to view a sample ACE transcript.

Eligible ACE credit may be applied toward select programs to satisfy general study or elective requirements. Credit acceptance varies by program.

*Program completion time is an estimate and may vary based on transfer credits, course availability, academic progress, successful course completion, and other program requirements.

**Tuition and fee estimates may vary based on transfer credits, academic progress, scholarships or grants, tuition or fee changes, and applicable state taxes.
