Re-Enrollment Options

We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise, and completing a course by the deadline may not always be possible. PDI offers course participants the option to re-enroll in their course(s) when additional time is needed. Review the details below to learn more about the re-enrollment process and available options.

Important to Know

We adhere to the university session and grading timelines, so coursework needs to be completed in the session in which you are registered.

For every session, there is a one-week grace period at the end of the session. You do not need to do anything to use this extra time. Just continue to work.

Still need more time? You can re-enroll in your course with our one-time re-enrollment option.

Please note: some courses have been retired and are no longer available for re-enrollment. If the course you previously enrolled in is listed below, you will not be able to re-enroll for that specific course. However, you may choose from any of our currently available courses and enroll at the applicable re-enrollment price.

Choose Your Specific Scenario

If you need to re-enroll in a course without university credit (course-only) due to an incomplete course or missed deadline, the fee is $90 per re-enrollment.

By re-enrolling, you acknowledge, understand, and agree to the following policy:

  1. Re-Enrollment Eligibility: You have one (1) year from your original date of enrollment to re-enroll in a course. You may only re-enroll in a course one time.
  2. Minimum Participation Requirement: Upon re-enrolling, the nine (9) day minimum participation requirement will restart and must be completed again.
  3. Assignments and Quizzes: All assignments and quizzes must be resubmitted. Previously completed coursework does not carry over to the re-enrolled course.

These terms and conditions apply universally to all re-enrollments and cannot be waived or modified.

Follow the instructions below to re-enroll in your course from your account:

  1. Log in to your account using your email address and password.
  2. Once logged in, click the account tab (Welcome, [Name]) at the top of the screen.
  3. Select My Courses and scroll down to view your list of courses.
  4. Locate the course in which you would like to re-enroll.
  5. If your course has dropped, click the View Options dropdown menu and select Re-Enroll. If you are still currently enrolled, click the Get Started dropdown menu and select Re-Enroll.
  6. Follow the prompts to begin the re-enrollment process and determine your eligibility.
  7. Complete your course re-enrollment and process payment.

If you need to re-enroll in a course with ACE or UCSD credit due to an incomplete or missed deadline, the fee is $180 per re-enrollment.

  1. Re-Enrollment Eligibility: You have one (1) year from your original date of enrollment to re-enroll in a course. You may only re-enroll in a course one time.
