How to Transfer a PDI Course with UCSD Credit to ACE

Your pathway to a master’s degree in education just got more affordable.

If you completed a PDI course(s) with credit from UCSD with a date of January 1, 2021 or later, you can transfer up to 9 credits toward select M.Ed. programs at American College of Education (ACE). With transfer credits applied, you can complete an advanced degree in as little as 12 months*, with total tuition of $7,400** or less, depending on the program.

Application toward an advanced degree is subject to ACE academic approval. To begin the application process, visit the Graduate Admissions webpage .

Once you have been accepted into your desired program, you can request that PDI send your course completion documentation directly to ACE on your behalf. You do not need to request an official transcript from UCSD. Instead, you are required to request and pay for PDI to send your Transfer Documentation Audit directly to ACE on your behalf. This request takes up to five days for PDI to process. You will be notified via e-mail once your Documentation Audit has been sent to ACE.

*This is an estimated time to completion. Actual completion time may vary depending on the number of transfer credits applied, availability of courses, a satisfactory pace, successful course completion, and meeting program milestones as required.
