Reading Interventions for Middle Grade Students (4-8)/Semester Course

 

Do you have readers in your class that are one to four years behind grade level?  This course will provide you with strategies for helping students with reading difficulties. Topics addressed in the course include assessment and diagnosis of reading difficulties, differentiation strategies, fluency skills, vocabulary development, and cognitive reading strategies. Teachers will learn how to help all students become better readers with improved comprehension skills.
