The Napping House and Silly Sally Literature Unit
By Audrey Wood
The Napping House
As a granny lies napping on a rainy day, she is joined in bed by a child, a dog, a cat, a mouse, and a flea until a chain of events is set off when the flea bites the cat and everyone is rudely awakened. The story ends with the whole group enjoying the beautiful day outside after the rain.
Silly Sally
Silly Sally went to town, walking upside down and backwards all the way. On her journey, she met some friends who accompanied her on the trip in their own unique way.
