Diagnostic and Prescriptive Teaching of Reading

(Grades K-3)

As teachers we know that assessment is important, but how do we link the assessment to the curriculum and instructional strategies? In this course, you will learn how to diagnose reading difficulties and make accommodations for those difficulties in the classroom. You will also learn how to work with individual students to improve their reading skills by selecting, modifying, and preparing appropriate instructional materials.

"The content and the resources were very, very good...and very helpful. I learned a great deal and I've been trying many of the strategies in my classroom." - Michelle Kalina
